Think pina colada, bit with avocado instead of pineapple, making it a creamy summer cocktail with flare!
I know it may sound rich, but the art of cocktail making is in the alchemy; a little avocado and a lot of citrus goes a long way! Creamy and decadent yet zesty and refreshing; go figure!
Recipe
1/4 avocado
1 oz avocado orgeat syrup
1 oz El Dorado 12 year rum
1 oz El Dorado 3 year rum
1 oz coconut cream
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz lemon juice
crushed ice
Method
Add all of the ingredients to a blender (mine is a Ninja blender and it DELIVERS).
Blitz, blitz, blitz.
Serve in a coupe glass or collins glass; up to you, I'm not your mum.
Garnish with an avocado slice, a lime wheel and a cocktail umbrella.
Drink in the sun, preferably while wearing ostentatious oversized sunglasses and a straw hat.
